Generation
Octopus groups the relevant products from your catalog into native Shopify collections — one per query. A semantic relevance filter weeds out full-text false positives. No API key required, available from the Free plan.
For guides and comparisons: a RAG engine automatically picks between Aggregation (curation of your articles, no AI), Hybrid (AI intro + curation) and Generation (full article written by Claude). Aggregation works without a key; AI writing uses your own Anthropic key, no markup.
One level up
Three details that separate a generated page from one worth indexing.
For a keyword like "red summer dress", Octopus can include only the red variants — the page shows the right products with the right images, not whole products with default photos.

Octopus manages its own product selection through Shopify's new collection model. Add or remove products by hand — the sync never overwrites your choices.
Your collections stay in sync with your catalog: new products added, non-matching ones removed — automatically, every day.
Every pass is visible in the app: the "Page maintenance" card shows 30 days of products added, removed and checks run — even when everything was already up to date.
